Sen. Johnny Isakson issued a statement via Twitter yesterday in response to the Orlando mass shooting. While Sen. Isakson resisted the urge to pat himself on the back and “appreciate the congrats” for “being right,” Georgia’s senior senator didn’t exactly hit the tone many of his constituents were looking for.
