Cagle and Ga. conservatives deny man-made climate change

The U.S. is the only country in the world that hasn’t signed the Paris agreement, which lays the framework for each country to plan and regularly report its own contribution to mitigate global warming. In every other country, climate change is a reality, not a partisan issue up for debate — even for conservatives. Hard to believe? Listen to these conservatives from across the world who agree that climate change is a real, man-made problem

Cagle is flying high on the taxpayer dime

A WSB-TV investigation has revealed that Lt. Governor Casey Cagle has grievously misused taxpayer money. In the last five years, Casey Cagle has taken more 200 separate flights at a cost of $250,000 to the taxpayers. Sen. Perdue lies about debt to get more money for the rich

It all came wrapped up in Trump’s now quite familiar self-serving, self-aggrandizing package. One of the moments of the debate that best highlighted just how disconnected the Republican party

End the Bush tax cuts for the richest 2 percent

Tax cuts signed into law by President George W. Bush in 2001 and 2003, which disproportionately benefit the richest 2 percent, will expire at the end of 2012. Ending them for those with household income above $250,000 would save the nation about $1 trillion over 10 years and would be an important first step toward requiring the wealthy to pay their fair share of taxes. That revenue also could be used to reduce the deficit
