We can’t win elections if we don’t run

Last year, 83 percent of Georgia state House seats were uncontested, the highest rate in the nation, according to an analysis done by the Associated Press. This means Georgia voters in 149 out of the 180 House of Representative districts had only one party on their ballot for their district’s House seat. Georgia voters deserve real choice. Instead, elected officials who defend the KKK and get arrested for driving under the influence and child endangerment

‘All of this money’ Stacey Abrams is raising will benefit others, not her

While answering questions her political future, possibly including a 2018 run at the governor’s office, House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams (D-Atlanta) told WABE reporter Denis O’Hayer that “all of this money” she’s raising “would go to other people.”

“Oh, absolutely,” she said. “… we have a lot of expensive races coming up.”
