Cobb County man killed by SWAT team identified

The Cobb County man who was killed by a SWAT team early Thursday morning has been identified. According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the man was 49-year-old Johnny Bolton of Austell. The GBI also released information that the warrant served was a no-knock warrant. According to the GBI, preliminary information indicates that on Thursday, December 17, at about 4:41 a.m., Marietta Cobb Smyrna Organized Crime Task Force agents and Cobb County Sheriff’s Office SWAT
