You’ll remember the national outrage when Georgia’s Legislature threatened to pass the “Preservation of Religious Freedom Act.”
After Delta, Coca-Cola and other Georgia businesses spoke out, the bill appeared dead. Until now.
That anti-gay, pro-discrimination bill is back.
On the last day of the session, that bill has returned as an amendment to two labor bills working their way through the General Assembly.
We need you to act now.

Speaker Ralston’s office number is 404-656-5020.
If enacted into law, the “Religious Freedom Act” would protect business owners who deny services to lesbians, gays — and pretty much anyone else — if the business owners allege that they are denying service on the basis of a “sincerely held religious belief.”
Religion is not an excuse for hate or intolerance.
Don’t let Georgia’s lawmakers bring back this terrible bill. Don’t let them use the confusion of the last day of the session to slip a bad bill into law.
