In a scripted press conference yesterday, Gov. Nathan Deal carefully apologized for Atlanta’s gridlock. He admitted that Georgia was not prepared for this week’s storm. Gov. Deal and Mayor Reed failed to prepare. They failed throughout the storm. And now they have failed in their response. Let’s hope Tuesday’s two-hour luncheon at the Atlanta Ritz-Carlton was their last together. Georgia can’t afford any more of this kind of leadership.
