Trump nominates a GOP cover-up expert as ambassador

In September, President Trump announced that he would nominate Georgia attorney Randy Evans to be the United States’ ambassador to Luxembourg. On the White House website they describe Evans as “a distinguished attorney, author and public servant,” but this hardly describes him. Evans has a long list of high profile clients in the GOP. Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed decriminalizes marijuana

Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed signed a measure Tuesday decriminalizing marijuana in Atlanta. The measure will reduce the penalty for possessing an ounce or less of pot in the city from $1,000 to $75 and eliminate jail time under those circumstances. GOP asks America to wait while Lewis fights for more gun control

Atlanta Congressman and Civil Rights icon John Lewis held a press conference Wednesday pushing for stronger gun control laws, in the wake of the tragic Las Vegas shooting.
