Could Georgia’s House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams be Bernie Sanders’ Vice President pick? Former NAACP President Ben Jealous thinks she should be.
This past Sunday during a CNN panel discussion, Jealous, who officially endorsed Sanders in February, highlighted the need to unite the party and singled out Abrams as one leader who could pull it off.
As Jealous points out, Abrams is the first woman to lead a state House or Senate Caucus in Georgia. He goes on to call Abrams “a rockstar in Georgia” and discusses the need to talk more about the rising women stars in U.S. politics.
