Could Hillary Clinton win Georgia?

There’s nothing that scares conservatives more than the fact that Hillary Clinton could win in Georgia in 2016.

On Sunday, when Hillary Clinton announced her candidacy for President, few were surprised.

But, many will be shocked to learn that candidates like Hillary Clinton could win in Georgia in 2016 if, starting today, we work together to make sure Georgia’s ready.

Donate today to make Georgia a 2016 Battleground State!

There’s no question that the fight is coming to Georgia, but when that happens is up to us.

For the first time in over two decades, Georgia is poised to be a battleground state for the 2016 presidential race.

Since 1992, conservatives have counted Georgia’s electoral votes as their own before the first ballot was ever cast, but because Georgia’s electorate is rapidly becoming more and more diverse, experts agree that Georgia is now at an electoral tipping point.

In both 2008 and 2012, Georgia was among the most competitive states won by the Republican nominee, and in 2012, Georgia was the second most competitive state carried by Mitt Romney – behind North Carolina, where President Obama was victorious in 2008.

We know progressive victories are possible in Georgia in 2016!

That’s the good news.

The bad news is that Georgia’s conservative supermajority, including Secretary of State Brian Kemp, also know that Georgia’s electoral votes are now up for grabs.

Conservatives know that without Georgia’s electoral votes reliably in their column, their path to the White House is nearly impossible.

That’s why, right now,  they’re doing everything they can to stop progressive victories by blocking progressive voters, and we have to act today to stop them.

They’ve already passed among the most restrictive voter ID laws in the country, limited opportunities for early voting and, just last year, illegally canceled the voter registration of more than 8,000 Georgians.

You read that right. In 2014, Brian Kemp’s office illegally canceled the registrations of over 8,000 voters. If you think that’s outrageous, you’re right.

At Better Georgia, we believe that every Georgian who has the right to vote should have the opportunity to vote.

Your contribution of $8 will help us fight to stop those who stand in their way.

We know that the tide of history is moving our state toward a more progressive future.

President Bill Clinton won Georgia in 1992.

With your help, in 2016, with candidates like Hillary Clinton on the ballot, we can make sure Georgia is once again a battleground state.

Will you stand with us today to say “no” to conservative dirty tricks designed to stop progressive victories in Georgia?

Yesterday, Hillary Clinton said that she was running for President because everyday Americans need a champion – someone to fight for them.

That’s why Better Georgia exists. We’re here to fight for you, and just this year, we’ve already proven that progressive victories are possible in Georgia!

We’re ready.

Georgia’s ready.

Are you ready?

Join us today to make victory possible in 2016.
