We’ve asked you to sign petitions, to make phone calls and to donate money but this is the first time we’re asking you to join us at the Gold Dome for a public rally.
That’s because this issue is so important.
The so-called Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) is a bill that would give any person or business the right to ignore laws—including non-discrimination laws, domestic violence laws and child welfare laws—under the guise of religious freedom.
We need you to stand with us tomorrow. Even Coca-Cola is welcome to join us.
So go ahead now and make plans to get to downtown Atlanta. Take an extra long lunch break, if needed.
The weather should be perfect: 76 degrees and partly cloudy.
Right now there are only 10 working days left in the legislative session. This bill has already passed the Georgia Senate and now could pass the House at any minute on any day.
